The Dental Association of Prince Edward Island

The Dental Association of Prince Edward Island (DAPEI) is a voluntary organization and the recognized voice of dentistry in PEI, dedicated to serving the interests of its members and promoting oral health for all Prince Edward Islanders. We serve, represent and advocate for our members, the dentists of PEI, and are the sole negotiating body for any contractual obligations.

DAPEI’s mandate is to provide programs, services and support for our members. Through collaboration and partnerships, DAPEI members also receive advocacy support and practice services provided by the Canadian Dental Association(CDA), other dental organizations and suppliers.

DAPEI is distinct and separate from the Dental Council of PEI. The DCPEI is a regulatory body, mandated to serve and protect the public interest. If you should have any complaints or questions about any dental treatment you have received, the DCPEI is the entity you should contact.
